MOMMY & ME in Italian

During the period between 9 and 18 months of life, language emerges, and children begin the first stages of comprehension. From first words to an average of 50 to 150 words by the age of 2, which marks the production of simple sentences too, during this time children are in a constant state of learning and engaging with the sounds around them! This is the best time to introduce and practice a foreign language – it is the optimal period for linguistic comprehension and language retention.

Each aspect of class, from games to songs, will include important linguistic components such as sound production, syllable repetition, and eventually, words and simple phrases. The goal is to build a simple vocabulary composed of one- and two-syllable words and two-word sentences.

NEW SESSION: Fall 2026 – September 21st

• Ages: 9-20 months old
• Days: Mondays and/or Wednesdays
• Time: 8:30 am – 9:15 am
• Packages: 5 or 10 classes
• One parent or guardian per child
• Absences: Absences can be made up if notice is given at least 24h in advance.
• Cancellation Policy: All refund requests must be submitted via email (info@collinaitaliana.com) at least one week before the start of the package in order to receive a full refund, minus a non-refundable $40 cancellation fee for packages of 5 and 10 classes.
