Looking to officially certify your Italian language skills? Collina Italiana offers CELI exams for both adults and adolescents, accredited by the University for Foreigners of Perugia and aligned with ALTE standards. These exams evaluate speaking, listening, comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and grammar skills.

CELI Adulti (Adults) – Italian Certification

For learners aged 18+, the CELI Adulti exam is offered at the following levels:

• • CELI 1 – A2

• • CELI 2 – B1 (required for Italian citizenship by marriage)

• • CELI 3 – B2 (required for many Italian universities)

• • CELI 4 – C1 (available in June & November only)

• • Exam Dates: March, June, November (worldwide)

• • Fee: $295 (Exam fee + Language Center fee)

• • Registration Deadline: 40 days before the exam

• • Results: Posted in 3–4 months on the Student Portal

• • Certificate: Available at exam center weeks after results

• • Expiration: Certificates do not expire

• • TEST-DAY SCHEDULE: Students should alot a full day to take the test (9AM-4PM)

CELI A – Adolescenti (Ages 12–18) – Italian Certification for Adolescents

The CELI A exam is tailored for students aged 12–18 and is held once a year in May. Levels offered:

• • CELI 1a – A2

• • CELI 2a – B1

• • CELI 3a – B2

• • Format: In-person at Collina Italiana

• • Duration: 3 to 5 hours, across 4–5 sections

• • Fee: $230 ($165 exam + Language Center fee)

• • Registration Deadline: 40 days before the exam

• • Results & Certificate: Same process and timeline as CELI Adulti

• • Expiration: Certificates do not expire

• • TEST-DAY SCHEDULE: Students should alot a full day to take the test (9AM-4PM)
