Our language classes have a maximum of 8 students, with most classes averaging just 4–6 students. Our instructors are experienced Italian teachers and many are native speakers who grew up in Italy.
That means you won’t disappear into the back of a crowded classroom. You’ll speak. You’ll practice. You’ll be heard.

Learn with, and from, your fellow classmates while getting the special attention you need. With 12 levels of classes, you’ll find the perfect fit for you: online or in-person courses!
These classes will help you master vocabulary and make new friends! The teacher will guide and facilitate the conversation among the students.
Go beyond grammar and vocabulary and experience Italian as a living language through art, music, opera, cinema, theater, and wellness. Our enrichment courses combine language learning with cultural exploration.

We’ll assess your level and provide you with our recommendation.
Your teacher will email you the material they covered in class, so you will always know what’s going on even if you were not there.
If you pay the course in full, we are happy to offer you 1 private make-up class per course for $55/h, instead of $90/h. Additional ones, would be $90/h.
Collina Italiana does not offer prorated rates for group courses under any circumstances, except for first-time students.
All returning students are responsible for the full cost of the course, regardless of attendance, late enrollment, or missed classes.
This policy ensures fairness and consistency for all participants and supports the integrity of our group learning experience.
Our classes are always very small. For language classes, max class size is 10 students, but most classes average around 4 – 6.
The best of the best, of course. All our instructors are experienced tutors and Italian mother tongue. Most of our instructors were born and raised in the ‘Bel Paese’ of Italy. Some instructors are Italian-American with a University degree or PhD in Italian.

You can schedule and register for a trial class for $50.
If, after the first class, it is established (either by the instructor or student themselves) that the student is not in the correct level, Collina Italiana will assist the student in transferring to a different class at no charge. Any other course change requests made after the second class are handled on a case-by-case basis and will incur a $55 change fee.
– EXPIRATION:
All packages—including those for private classes, group courses, gift cards, and any remaining account balance—are valid for one year from the original date of purchase. After this period, any unused sessions, credits, or balances will automatically expire and become non-redeemable. Extensions beyond the one-year validity may only be granted in special cases and must be explicitly stated and formally approved by the school in advance. It is the responsibility of the student to track usage and schedule sessions within the valid time frame. No refunds or transfers will be issued for expired services.
