Step into a week of beauty, slowness, and inspiration in the enchanting setting of Villa Tombolina, nestled in the heart of the Marche region. By popular demand, this unique retreat returns with an experience designed to awaken the senses, deepen the gaze, and reconnect you with what truly matters.

This is more than a retreat: it is an invitation to slow down and live beauty fully. Days unfold through encounters with the great masterpieces of art history, immersive walks through unspoiled landscapes, and shared moments of authentic conviviality in true Italian spirit and language. Knowledge and experience flow naturally together, creating a space where learning becomes lived experience.
The journey is enriched by hands-on workshops in local artistic crafts—an opportunity to rediscover the joy of creating with your hands, guided by time, care, and tradition.

The retreat includes:

• Curated guided visits to Gubbio, Assisi (during the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis), and Fano, where the recent rediscovery of the basilica attributed to Vitruvius has been celebrated as a find comparable to the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb
• Deep immersion in nature, from the San Bartolo Natural Park to the Cagli River and the dramatic Furlo Gorge*
• Experiential culinary and artistic workshops, including natural soap-making, ceramics, and leatherworking

*Guided walks along easy, well-maintained trails with gentle elevation changes, suitable even for those with little or no hiking experience.

Sunday, May 24 – Arrival & First Impressions
Pick up of the group in Bologna at noon and transfer to Tombolina.
As we leave the city behind, a different rhythm begins.
Welcoming aperitivo. A first toast to the week ahead: to beauty, friendship and discovery.

Monday, May 25 – The Art of the Hands
Morning – Leather Workshop
Discover the ancient art of leather craftsmanship.
Because when hands create, time slows down.
Afternoon – Walk in Nature
A gentle walk through the charming Marche landscape.
To breathe deeply and reconnect with simplicity.
Cooking class in the evening.

Tuesday, May 26 – Sacred Stones & Medieval Echoes
Morning – Assisi
Visit of Assisi, city of Saint Francis. Here, faith became architecture and silence became art.
Afternoon – Gubbio
Explore the medieval beauty of Gubbio. A town suspended in time, where stone tells stories of power and devotion.

Wednesday, May 27 – Nature & Essential Beauty
Morning – Walk in Nature
A mindful immersion in the landscape. Listening to the quiet intelligence of the earth.
Afternoon – Soap Workshop
Create natural soaps and/or candles using traditional techniques. A return to essential gestures and simple luxury.

Thursday, May 28 – Clay, Cities & Roman Memory
Morning – Ceramic Workshop & Urbania
Hands in clay, shaping form from earth. Tour of Urbania.
Where craftsmanship and history meet.
Afternoon – Fano
Visit of the Basilica of Vitruvius in Fano.
A journey into Roman harmony, proportion and the architecture of eternity.

Friday, May 29 – The Luxury of Time
A day dedicated to relaxation.
Yoga sessions and/or shopping. Because true luxury is having time for yourself.
Goodbye party.
Celebrating a week lived fully: slowly, beautifully, together.

Private transfer back to Bologna.
We return home carrying new skills, new friendships, and new eyes.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Because this retreat is built around exclusive accommodations, private services, and limited group size, the following policy applies:
• Cancellations received before April 15th, 2026 are eligible for a refund equal to 25% of the second installment.
• Participants who have completed full payment prior to April 15th and cancel before that date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total retreat cost, minus the non-refundable deposit.
• Cancellations received after April 15th, 2026 are non-refundable.
