"Spending more time in Lugano allows me to expand our work in Italy and develop programs that connect our students to the country in a more immersive and meaningful way. As Founder and Cultural Ambassador, I lead our international partnerships and Italy-based initiatives. I remain closely involved in shaping our cultural programming and co-curricular experiences, and I continue returning to New York throughout the year. Collina’s roots in NYC remain central to who we are. As we grow internationally, our home remains strong, deepening abroad while staying grounded in the community that shaped us."

Collina Residenza is an intimate Italian language and cultural residency created for adults who wish to deepen their relationship with the language through art, architecture, conversation, and meaningful local encounters.
Our residencies are intentionally small, allowing space for connection, curiosity, and thoughtful exploration. Each setting is carefully chosen to reflect the richness and rhythm of Italian life.
Here, language unfolds naturally — over shared meals, in museum galleries, along quiet streets, and in conversation.

"I’m Eveline, an art historian, and I design journeys that go far beyond traditional travel.
Each itinerary is the result of in-depth study and careful research. I don’t simply choose places, I build narratives, connecting art, history, culture, and politics into a meaningful and coherent experience.
What matters to me is not only what we see, but how we learn to look. I aim to guide you toward a deeper way of seeing art—one that feels relevant, personal, and alive—so that each work becomes part of a larger story about the world and about ourselves.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: art is one of the most powerful ways we have to stay connected and to better understand who we are.

During spring, we gathered in the enchanting setting of Villa Tombolina for a week designed to awaken the senses and cultivate a deeper appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and place. Through privileged encounters with art, hands-on experiences with local artisans, walks through breathtaking landscapes, and the warmth of Italian conviviality, we immersed ourselves in a slower rhythm of life. The result was more than a memorable journey—it was a chance to return home inspired, enriched, and transformed by the enduring power of beauty.

Last February we stepped into the splendor of 18th-century Venice and experienced the magic of Carnevale as few ever do. This carefully curated journey combined private tours, luxurious accommodations, and exclusive encounters with Venice’s master artisans, offering rare access to the city’s rich artistic and cultural heritage. The celebration culminated with an unforgettable Grand Masquerade Ball in a historic Venetian palace, where music, masks, and candlelight bring the enchantment of Venice’s golden age vividly to life. Celebrating the remarkable legacies of three influential women in history and culture, participants explored the Ravenna of Galla Placidia, the Ferrara of Lucrezia Borgia, and the Mantua of Isabella d’Este, uncovering the stories of these powerful figures who shaped their cities and left an indelible mark on the Renaissance world.
