We think learning Italian should be fun for everyone. Our children’s classes are a wonderful place to start your child’s Italian education and feed their curiosity.
Learning a new language isn’t just fun—it’s also great for the brain! Did you know that it can help develop essential skills for life? Studies show that learning a second language at a young age can improve problem-solving, critical thinking, and listening abilities, while boosting memory, focus, and multitasking skills. Children who are fluent in multiple languages also demonstrate increased creativity and mental flexibility.
At Collina Italiana, we make learning fun with stories, games, activities, and conversation. Each class blends art, storytelling, singing, and dancing to keep kids engaged. For older children, our classes focus on grammar and vocabulary, providing the tools they need to learn and practice Italian in a small group setting, all while having fun with a variety of resources.

Ages 1-16
Learning together is always fun! That’s why we offer a variety of group class levels for children of all ages. Beginner to Intermediate levels and classes for Bilingual kids.
Ages 6-14
Join the fun and make art in our special courses for kids. These creative expression classes for kids and teens are full of fun and creativity… all in Italian!
Ages 2-8
Open up a world of learning, friends and fun. We know how hectic summers can be, so we offer flexible options for all families. One-day/week camp during school holidays!
Ages 3-8
We offer a wide variety of workshops like music, storytelling, arts and crafts, and more – all taught in Italian! It’s the perfect way for kids to learn while having a great time and making friends!
Ages 12-18
This Italian official exam is for students ages 12 – 18. This language exam verifies and officially certifies one’s Italian skills: speaking, listening, comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.

BRAVISSIMO and MOMMY&ME: Absences can be made up if notice is given at least 24h in advance. Classes can’t be refunded or made up for late cancellations and no shows. All refund requests must be submitted via email (info@collinaitaliana.com) at least one week before the start of the package in order to receive a full refund, minus a non-refundable $40 cancellation fee for packages of 5 and 10 classes.
GIROTONDO: Students can make up a maximum of two classes per session for absences due to sickness or emergencies/unforeseen schedule changes. Students can use said make-ups by attending one of our Saturday Workshops (if available). Classes can’t be refunded or made up for same-day cancellations and no shows.
Collina Italiana does not prorate for anticipated absences. Mid-session registrations are prorated.

Our classes are always very small. For language classes, max class size is 8 students, but most classes average around 4 – 6.
The best of the best, of course. All our instructors are experienced tutors and Italian mother tongue. They were born and raised in the ‘Bel Paese’ of Italy.
EVENTS/WORKSHOPS:
All refund requests must be made via email (info@collinaitaliana.com) at least 24-hours in advance in order to receive a full refund.
– EXPIRATION:
All full, unused packages – such as private classes, group courses, gift cards, or any remaining account balance agreed upon – are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After this period, any unused sessions, credits, or balances will automatically expire and become non-redeemable. Extensions beyond the one-year validity may only be granted in special cases and must be explicitly stated and formally approved by the school in advance. It is the responsibility of the student to track usage and schedule sessions within the valid time frame. No refunds or transfers will be issued for expired services.
